Where are these 2nd round draft pick young studs? I had high hopes for these guys. I don't understand why our young guys get injured all the time. When your young, your supposed to be less injury prone.

Oh I thought it was "when you're young, you're supposed to be less prone."

Rob Gronkowski, Sebastian Vollmer and Patrick Chung. Saw a study last year where about 50pct of 2nd round picks make it. Looks like we have 3 home runs. And, 3 struggling to find their niche.

Spikes was pretty good last year. All three have injuries this year. Spikes got some playing time last week. With Fred Jackson on the Bills, he should get more time this week.

Give them a break at this point.

Being young means being less injury prone???

A bone is a bone,A knee is a knee...I don't care how young you are ,if if gets hit directly you will be hurting.

I think Spikes might just not be a great fit in a 4-3. I know he played in one in college, but he might just not be fast enough to play MLB at a high level as a pro. If that makes him purely a situational/matchup player, then so be it. I know a lot of people here will complain that he didn't turn into an all pro, but that really isn't a waste of a second round pick, especially since we seem to have a handful of them every year. IMO, it seems like he may have been drafted to be a 3-4 ILB, and for what we're playing now, Fletcher may just be a better fit. That's as much a positive statement about Fletcher as it is a negative about Spikes.

Brace is one guy that I'm actually kinda curious about. I had more or less written him off after last year, and I fully expect that he'll never make a really significant contribution to the Pats, but we haven't seen him play in the new defense yet. It's a lot closer to what he played in college, so who knows, I suppose it's possible that he might surprise some people.

That is just awesome. I was cracking up at my desk picturing it in my head. The Odd Couple and All in the Family were so ahead of their time. I can still watch those and just die laughing. The episode where they go on Password is still my favorite.

I still have high hopes for all three.

Given how many snaps all saw last year, I see no need for panic.

    Are you their agent?

Getting a commission on every snap?

What's going on with the Mayan prediction?

    Any thoughts on asteriod collisions?

Oscar: We're losing here! Now, come on, let's go to get together!
Felix: Why do you think I'm giving you these great clues?
Oscar: Great clues??? If Charlie Chan had these clues, he'd be running a laundry

And each of the "strugglers" you named has started at least 7 NFL games. There's a pretty huge range of success levels between a Rob Gronkowski and a Chad Jackson.

    Many feel that way.

Perhaps you and Riddler can huddle and provide analysis from the dunce hat corner.

    Disable Jersey

You think Chung is a home run pick? If so, an explanation of how you're using "home run" would be helpful.
