It's game day.

There were almost 800 viewers last time i looked.

Not only is the board still up ...
it is downloading like lightning !

I noticed this too, huge props to Ian.

Lightening fast.

The frustrations of the past are gone--like the J-E-T-S Jets, jets, jets.

BIG TIME! Previously this season, I'd just leave the board until Sunday evening because the lag was too painful.

Thanks SO much, Ian :eat3:

873 now.....

I wonder if that is a record????

Up to 971 ATM. But as for the record... (at the bottom of the forum directory)

Most users ever online was 1,163, 09-11-2006 at 07:38 PM.

All the moves and then he capped it off deleting everything pre-November from the database have done the trick.

Not a computer geek but perhaps someone (guest) account(s) were bogging down the server using the search feature. I noticed when I used the search it took longer than posting ... IAN got them ... nice IAN.

A tip o' the shanter to Ian.

I've been watching all afternoon and it appears that there have been no issues. Looks like we're finally all set.

I appreciate the kind words, but you guys have put up with a lot between all the outages, slowdowns, etc. The fact everyone is still here obviously means a lot so your support is why all this has been done.

Looks like we should have another interesting and big week ahead of us. This afternoon's game was terrific as it was nice to see some of the big plays made down the stretch, which is something that made the previous championship teams so special. Hopefully they can keep it going heading into San Diego next weekend.

EDIT: The pre-November threads are still there, but I'm noticing that they're not coming up and are appearing with a 1969 date and then not appearing when clicked on. I'll have to look into that. As for the search I haven't run the search population feature yet, as I just haven't had time as it requires shutting down the forum. But the memory and processor on this server can more than handle the load when it final is ready.

Close to 900 fans viewing the board at one point and the board has no problem. THANK YOU IAN!

Threads go back to 12/19/05. I think that was the point where we had lost the posts from the previous server. Threads before that day are still on the server, but aren't appearing. I'll have to look into that some day when I have some free time
