Then on the next series he throws what should have been another pick-six to Ray Lewis, who (unfortunately) dropped the ball.
Then a three-and-out.
Great stuff!
He has a lot to learn.
But, to be fair he is a rookie in his first start against the Baltimore D. Chalk this up as a learning experience and nothing more for now.
:yeahthat: The biggest question is, are the Jets and their fans prepared to be patient? Hard to imagine.

I typically like Jaworski, but if he could get any more hyped about Sanchez I think he'd spontaneously combust. With the way they are talking in the booth (and on NFLN and on ESPN), I don't know why opposing defenses are even bothering to take the field this year. Just hand the Jets the trophy. The Franchez - God's gift to the quarterback position.
I disagree, if he had thrown for 150yds 3tds 0ints would you still chalk it up as a learning experience and say it means nothing? I dont understand why when somebody struggles it means nothing it was just a learning experience, but if the guy performs really well hes the next great thing.
For me Jaws and Gruden are like a breath of fresh air. They actually talk football. They'll be fawning over Brady on the Monday Night opener like a couple of school girls.
And he's got the edge in looks over Joe Namath. Don't ever underestimate the importance of that to New Yorkers.Hes tall, has a strong arm. Hes tall, has a strong arm. Hes tall, has a strong arm. ..............
