Hard to say. He certainly doesn't want to go back to the Oakland-type situation but think about how many other teams he could take from "almost there" to the mountaintop. Think about Moss with the Steelers and the Pats without him...pretty evenly matched aren't they? Or God forbid with the Colts?
Make no mistake, Moss is *key* to thye level of dominance the pats are displaying right now. Take him away and they are still a top 5 team but not *the* team.
So, IMHO, give him more money tahn any other WR (cause he is the best) or Franchise him.
"I'm still in a dream," he said. "It's too good to be true. I'm with the Patriots. What more do you want?"
"I've made a lot of money and I still have money in the bank. So by me coming to an organization such as the New England Patriots, why would money be a factor?" Moss said in a conference call. "I'm still in awe that I'm a part of this organization."
If PATs have a plan and a cap figure for their receiving core and they
explain it to Randy I think he would accommodate as long as they
make a reasonable offer. I could see him accepting 7M/yr.
