Says Cowboys are as effective as they are because they have a ridiculous offensive line. Goes back to their glory days. Just about any RB could run behind that line.

Thinks running game is coming back into the NFL.

Ton of injuries in the secondary

Will be Jets defensive line v. Patriots O-line

Will be a bit of a dog fight, but at some point the Patriots will pull away

Bedard is buying into the Pats of the last two weeks. Feels this who they are. Belichick now knows what he has. They can still get better. Thinks Brady of this past week will be the Brady going foward.

Funny, Felger said yesterday that he never thought much of Ridley, but now that he is gone for the year he is a huge loss. Typical Felger. The players Belichick drafted are junk until they are gone and then they are huge pieces.

Patriots haven't come close to playing their best game yet. They are getting better.

As long as Brady gets protection, this is the Brady you'll see for the rest of the season.

With every QB, what happens is you get sped up with too much pressure. That's what happened with Brady for the first 4 weeks. As long as he doesn't get completely sped up, Brady can now carry the team because he feels more confident. Coincides with Gronk.

A QB Like Brady... give them one of two things. Either give them an o-line, or give them functional weapons. Brady had neither for the first 4 weeks.

Now Gronk is back. Edelman's been steady. LaFell is in the mix. Brady can now better manage a stretch were the OL is not good because the weapons are better.

Thinks Gray is a guy they will probably promote just for numbers. If they go outside the organization, it would be for just a solid guy, not a big talent.

Overriding thought when he watches Vereen play is that his natural football instincts are very spotty, while Woodhead's and Faulk's were off the charts He's best where he can just use his speed. When he has to make down and dirty football plays, that's where he doesn't have that football sense.

This has always been my thoughts on Vereen, when he has the ability to use his talent right away he will shine, when he's required to actually play the game of football he appears to struggle.

He's fantastic though when the team designs plays to get him in space or just gives him one man to beat, such as on the wheel routes. If the OL can give Brady some time I full expect to see a shot or two to Vereen on wheel routes against the Jets base defense. He can outrun them for 80 again like he did in 2012.

The defense is playing so far above their talent level right now, it's bound to happen, the only question really is: when?

Their coaching staff deserves gold stars all around for the first 6 weeks though. I don't know if theres any bigger surprise than that team. The worst NFL defense loses their best players and somehow gets better. Figure that out.

Thinks it's a talented team with proud veterans with great history of being warriors (i.e. Staley, Boldin, Smith, Bethea, Gore), and that's why they've been able to function

Luck's been sensational, but he seems to have 2-3 plays a game where he's not there mentally, and he makes big mistakes

Thinks Idzik will get the opportunity to set up the interviews, be there and run them. At end of day, Idzik will have input, but Woody will make the decision. Woody will get involved, be an idiot and make a bad decision.
