The red seat folks stayed inside with the quiche and chablis, not that I blame them this time. Running inside to relieve the prostate, I was surprised to see how many lower level fans were inside the concourse, eating and drinking. Why pay for seats and parking just to eat and drink? WTF?
I think about 48,000, but was the loudest per person of the year.
Yeah, I don't think too many casual fans made it out to this game because of the weather.
Anyone who sits in the top row of the 300s during a game like that deserves ... a free liter of Pepsi or a Medal of Honor.
Amen. I risked life and limb each time I went up and down those stairs. Not sure what the 100 and 200 levels were like, but the stairs were not shoveled at all in the 300s and as the game went on, the snow got packed down into the stairs into mounds of ice. Although the pile of snow behind my seat served as a nice cooler for my beers.
ShrewBeer...
That's one of the reasons why I guesstimated that there were only about 25,000 people there.....the 300 levels were empty. I practically had about three rows to myself.
Because they can.Why pay for seats and parking just to eat and drink? WTF?

Has anyone heard any numbers on how many people actually went to the Jets game? Just my visual estimate based on how many empty seats I saw, I wouldn't be shocked if the actual attendance was around 25,000.
