Cutler looks like crap

I can't wait for the postgame presser.

Jay says it's no big deal, just one game, 15 to go, lots of pros in the locker room... He wasn't making strong eye contact, though...

He looks rough to me, not sure if it's his illness or his off field lifestyle...

i'll admit that tonight was the first time i have watched a Cutler game end to end. man, he really comes across as immature. i mean, if my six year old pouted as much as he did, I'd talk with him to adjust his attitude pronto. after that one drive i was starting to think, well i guess i was wrong, but then came INT numero quatro and the longest face on a grownup i've seen in a long time.

it's a long season and the guy could be as great as the hype (and two first rounders) suggest he must be, but, for what it's worth and to put it mildly,i was really surprised.

and BTW, what did Cutler ever do to Tony Dungy? In the postgame, Coach didn't have a good word to say about him and twisted the knife by saying this wasn't what the Bears were expecting for two number ones.

Boy...what a game there Cutler :D

Somebody better bring Denver up on charges...it's looking like they robbed the Bears by getting Orton and a first rounder :p

In the midst of pimping Vick, Dungy pronounced Cutler immature for shooting his way out of Denver. Questioned his ability to lead. He was actually being a little kinder to him in the post game than he's been to date. I think Dungy's kinder gentler attitude led Rodney to just bite his tongue...

Hype is often overstated...never moreso than in the NFL.

I normally don't have much joy in watching others fail, but man was I LOLing after every Cutler INT.

yeah dungy was spot on questioning cutler when he left the broncs. and seeing cutler's post game press conf , he is right. imagine brady losing a game and saying its 1 game and 15 more to go -no big deal.

no two players like cutler and marshall have as much ego for as less they have won.

Although I hate Cutler for his diva act, I will root for him against the Steelers. The Steelers are a team that is arguably the biggest threat for the Pats for the AFC crown.

i want cutler to get blitz and sacked -throught the game. if he had issues with green bay's 3-4 ,pitts will give him hell . he behaved like a franchise QB without winning anything ...i hope he loses.

I have to say that I was wondering if his Diabetes was in check. One of the things that high blood sugar levels can do is cause irritability and difficulty concentrating, plus moodiness or even outright anger. I know these symptoms, being a diabetic myself. You have to watch high-stress times, and this was certainly one of them.

In the second half, he seemed to come into more of a rhythm, and I was wondering if he might've taken insulin at halftime.

Anyway, that's my 2-cent's worth. I have to admit, though, that I haven't seen that much energy in a season opener in a long time. Some MASSIVE hits going on tonight.

Well, that could have been an issue, but that game was a pretty much what I've come to expect from Jay Cutler. :confused2:

Yep, pretty much a "year in review" type highlight reel of his career in Denver, wrapped into one game. You got the inopportune picks, horrible decision making under pressure and just enough of a hint of what could be that a coach will throw his career away trying to get 100% out of him. It isn't going to end well in Chicago if they don't find a few receivers that can catch a football.

Instant Karma's gonna get you.

Loving it

You guys are just too good for us, no doubt about it. The Commish might as well hand you the Lombardi trophy right now. We've had a great run, but we should know when we're outclassed. :D

I love (not!) how the announcers kept blaming the receivers. A few of those picks and near picks were right to Packer defenders with other Packers around them and another Bear reciever open by at least a step in another part of the field.

It wouldn't have made a difference how the receivers ran their routes. A competent QB wouldn't have even attempted most of those throws.

I would just like to take the oportunity to congratulate Josh McDaniels on ridding himself of Cutler and for his 1st W as a HC. Heh.

This thread is an under-handed attempt to support McDaniels, whether it be anti-Cutler or pro-Broncos, and it's pretty weak.

An underhanded attempt to support somebody?!?!?! Are you serious?
