I don't recall anyone being put on that list brcause of the run.
I'm not saying it didn't happen, but i don't think so.
Well...basically whether technically put ON the list or the fact that you do not practice is basically PUPed. I think Kelley two years ago had trouble and was cut for that. It happens. If you read Tomase/Breer, yesterday I believe they had this...
"As a quick add-on to the story,(WHICH was about PUP) the book’s not closed on the list yet. The team will hold its conditioning run tomorrow and, thereafter, it’s possible additions are made to the list."
I think the inference from that is that if one does NOT pass the test, PUP is the option.
Given how many players are from different teams, it just shows that some may NOT be used to the conditioning needed for the team. I think it's silly to start making judgments on that right away. Also notice, if indeed that is what happened, he came to camp early and made sure he passed before camp was scheduled..OR when the bulk of the runs will happen, today. Not making excuses for him, but wait until there is something substantive. I REALLY doubt that a conditioning run will be a deciding factor. As I said, if that shows more him not being in shape during camp, it's another story.
