Kelley cleared
By Mike Reiss, Globe Staff
Receiver Kelley Washington, who was placed on the physically unable to perform list Tuesday, was removed from the list today. That means Washington is cleared to practice with the Patriots.

sounds like a guy who didn't pass the run test....and then passed it on the second try.

Do they have that before camp opens?
Mr. Miyagi strikes again!!
He passed it before camp is official..he won't be missing a day of camp because of that. I really do NOT think it is that big a deal. If there is a conditioning problem ongoing, that is more important and MIGHT BE an issue. This one run, is not.I heard on Sirius NFL radio this morning that the reason Washington was on the PUP was because he initially failed the conditioning run. Based on the conversation (they were talking about the difference between being medically healthy to return and in football shape and how the Pats require their players to pass the conditioning run to be healthy enough to play), I don't know if it was speculation or a statement of fact (or at least statement of sources). It would make sense since he was only on the PUP for one day.
If Washington did in fact fail the conditioning run, that is yet another black mark on his less than stellar beginning with the Patriots. Again assuming this is the case, he is starting to look like another David Terrell - a failed reclaimation project.

Oh boy So you came to this conculsion after speculating on things you know nothing about?? Nice!
Who is the scout who picked Washington as a good fit for the Patriots? I think listening to Chad Johnson for the past 4 years has made him lose his sense of reality. Like someone said before, it's like David Terrible all over again.
I don't recall anyone being put on that list brcause of the run.
I'm not saying it didn't happen, but i don't think so.
