I figured that I'd include it in the laundry list of his past mistakes and questionable choices, even though it's purely speculative and there is no concrete evidence whatsoever that currently links him to this.
The authorities
did rule it as arson, although they haven't made any arrests yet and are still working through the investigation. The last report was about 3-4 weeks ago. I'm really not meaning to drag his name through the mud any more than he's already done himself, but since we're discussing him, it is worth noting.
That said, we've seen plenty of reclamation projects and I do believe that everyone deserves another chances. It just seems as though trouble follows McClain wherever he goes, and that
could be cause for concern. It's certainly worth kicking the tires on, and I imagine Belichick would take a chance at the right price. What that price is would be anyone's guess, of course.
