Jets' #1 CB Dee Milliner out for Week 1 (questionable for Wk 2).
Probable starters at CB are Antonio Allen (7th rnd pick, originally a safety, never played at CB) and Darrin Walls (practice squad guy, 4 career starts). At S, they'll have Dawan Landry and Calvin Pryor (1st rnd pick, good at blitzing & against the run). Nickel CB is Kyle Wilson ("awful", by many Jets fans).

Basically the Jets have 3 JAGs at CB, an injured, unimpressive CB, and a veteran and a rookie at S.
Here are some of the WRs and TEs the Jets will face this year:
Wk 1 - vs OAK - QB D.Carr, WR J.Jones/D.Moore
Wk 2 - @ GB - QB A.Rodgers, WR J.Nelson/R.Cobb

There are those that like to lump the vocal minority of Patsfans.com and make sweepingly, negative generalizations about the whole community. Its an easy trap to fall into and I can be as guilty of it as anyone.*

But the one thing that strikes me every time I go to another team's forums is how great we really have it here on Patsfans.com and how much our posters love our team and the game of football.

And oh, since this was the Jets Suck thread, let me conclude with the observation that JetsInsider truly was like visiting an insane asylum and having the inmates come up and lick your face after they've just gotten done eating their feces. (And yes, I used this analogy before, but its just too fitting to only ever use just the once)


* As an example comparison, it was several days after the Mankins trade to the Buccaneers and I could barely find a post on any Buccaneers board that was even talking about or trying to evaluate Mankin's impact to their team. A subject that would never be ignored here.

If the Raiders OL protects Carr, he's going to have a field day against that secondary. The Jets defense is going to have to live and die on that pass rush... especially in Week 1.
