Giants were terrible YESTERDAY. Eli threw 2 sure fire INT's

We had our defense for only 2 games of the regular season while also having to play the top 3 offenses in the NFL: You guys, Saints, and PAckers.

You guys have also played 2 games and one of them was vs Tebow. We shutout the Falcons and if not for two brutal calls in GB they would of only been held to 6 points. So like I said before, reading the stats doesn't tell the story at all

Meyer the Giants DL will be going up against the BEST OL in Football. I love your Team but make no mistake about it this will not be like 2007. We are scoring atleast 30. Different Team this Time aroung one Great WR and Two Great TE's....The Patriots are on a mission they will not be Stopped!

Are you really going to keep doing this dance?

The Packers lit you up, and so did the Saints, but even if you take away 48 of the 88 points ( I don't see you offering any similar break regarding the fluky Pats/Bills game), the Patriots still allowed fewer points on the season than did the Giants.

As for the playoffs, you play who you play. The Giants played a Packers team that was clearly not ready to play and was making all sorts of unforced errors, a 49ers team in bad conditions and with Alex Smith at the QB spot, and a Falcons team that's soft in the playoffs.

What are you basing this best oline in football on?

I mean your middle of the pack in protecting Brady sack wise and you def dont' have road graders when it comes to run blocking. I mean personally, the Giants front 4 vs a QB who isn't mobile is a major advantage for us.

It won't be like 07 in anyway, I agree. Both teams are different but we are MUCH more rounded than we were in 07.

dance? We absolutely got lit up by the Saints IN NO. But we also walked into Foxboro and won (cue excuse from you), got robbed at home vs GB, shutout ATL in the playoffs, and then walked into Lambo and dookie'd on the Pack. But you keep hanging on to that Saints game, i'm sure it'll make u feel better.

And I was referring to the GB game in the playoffs. The one where the most PHANTOM late hit call on 3rd down which would of resulted in a punt obviously was called and let them extend a drive which lead to a TD and the Jennings fumble (which wasn't called but NFL apologized for) and they kept the ball and were able to score.

I love how u bring up all of these early/midseason games but leave out when we came to Foxboro without our #1 WR and #1 RB

1.) I didn't bring up the Saints game. You did.

You're the one who brought up the midseason games, not me. As for your trip to Foxboro, the Patriots suffered injuries to both starting safeties and a starting ILB, yet I hadn't brought that up. It's funny to watch you playing all sorts of "woe is me" cards while accusing others of doing it, but it's making you look ridiculous, so you might want to stop.

We are so much Stronger and more agile up the Middle Dan Connolly instead of Dan Koppen at RT Nate Soldier a *Beast* instead of Nick Kaczur. We now have Pro Bower Brian Waters at RG instead of Stephen Neal. Matt Light and Logan Mankins are gamers. Plus a nice committee at RB instead of that putrid Laurence Maroney. Well actually you did by mentioning regular season stats - i pointed out strength of schedule. Obviously when you play teams with offenses like Pats, Packers, and Saints numbers will not be great against your defense.

Attributing everything that good happens to the GIants as luck and disregarding those same theories to similar things that happened to the pats is YOU making excuses and being pretty weak about it.

Oh okay if u want to play that injury game we can because we were missing our starting center as well as our starting MLB, #2 and #3 corners. Im not complaining, im countering your points which you make a ton of excuses.

Oh yeah remember this the Patriot Secondary wont be Dropping Eli's picks. We don't have a Stone Hands Secondary like the 49ers...be very afraid.:scared:

All talking aside a its fun having you guys over.

hmm and that Pat's secondary all set to handle 3 explosive wideouts huh?

first: I agree that your points about your oline being better is valid, its just not anywhere near one of the best in the league. Def improved though

second: its fine to play the woulda, coulda, shouldas - but I notice u don't mention how a tipped ball of Smith's hands which should of been caught and given us a 1st and goal on the 9 - popped into the hands of Hobbs for an interception.

I would say the luck of interceptions was a push there. Samuel could of had a pick 6, but we should of also put up 6.

like wise. I didn't have a good time dealing with Pack and 9ers fans, but you guys and Falcons fans (surprised about Falcon fans) i've had good dialogue with. I mean every board has a couple aholes, so i don't hold that one guy as an example of you all lol

i'll tell ya.. I wanted the Ravens to win because I wanted revenge for the 2000 superbowl, so I was cheering for them...

I could NOT believe you guys had Edelman on Boldin the whole time!

I was screaming at my TV to throw it to BOldin

He is a little guy who can move and have great Change of direction skills. Just the guy to put on Cruz.:D;) Hey was Cruz undrafted?

140+ posts in 1 day? That can't be healthy.

Just wanted to point this out since the media keeps talking about the Giants being "red hot".

Yes, theyre a great team. Battle tested. Gritty. But still terribly inconsistent. Perhaps it was because the ball was wet and the field was slippery. I don't know. But as someone who doesn't watch a whole lot of Giants games, I was not at all impressed last night.

Eli threw 2 surefire picks yesterday. Both were botched by the same 49ers player (Dashon Goldson) being overly aggressive and running into his own team mate.

Alex Smith was easily the worst QB in the entire playoffs. Tebow is more of a threat. There was one 3 and out at the end of regulation where he missed all 3 of his targets by huge margins. He looked like a high school QB to be honest.

49ers kick returner makes a bone headed play. He had no business being near that ball when it was bouncing around.

And with all that, the Giants were still taken to overtime by the 49ers.

Then that same kick returner fumbles the ball and gives the Giants an easy FG.

Sure they beat the Packers. But last night they could barely beat Alex Smith on a bad day. Our offense will have a better game against the Giants defense than we would've against the 49ers defense.

49ers are one of the few teams that might be able to cover our dual TE's. Pat Willis is the fastest LB in the league and could run step for step with Gronk AND is athletic enough to knock away passes. They also have a good pass rush with Aldon Smith and Justin Smith. The Giants also have good pass rush but nobody to line up with Gronk and Hernandez.

Nothing else to say.... I can't wait for the Superbowl.

Seriously dude, he was playing a defense that can actually cover receivers.

Call me back when you have 4 or 5... As I recall we went 3-1 or .750, through your (over) vaunted and (not so) supertough NFCE. Did you ? No, Hmm...

Did you know the Pats had just as many Sacks and TFLs, despite playing Read and React, as your vaunted (and grossly undersized), front four during your last five "superhot" games?

I thought SF's real strength was run D. And while I agree they can certainly cover receivers, New Orleans didn't exactly have a bad outing against them, despite the last second loss.
