I agree. But now that both are out my perception of these playoffs have changed. I was resigned to the fact one of those teams was taking the SB. Now - with higher expectations - I am afraid I'll be more disapointed if/when NE doesn't take advantage.
Lets not go there yet, spitting on another teams grave before we even make it to where we want to be?
Speak for yourself.
I'm not spitting on anyone's grave.
You might want to consider smelling a rose or two, my friend.
We have...an extraordinary Opportunity, here.

I'd say, lets get there first?

Yes you are. If that isn't "spitting on someone's grave"/"kicking someone when they are down" then nothing is.
The NFL doesn't want judgement calls eligible for replay because that opens a whole new can o' worms. Most penalties are judgement calls. Only rare non-judgement-call penalties, like too many men on the field, can be reviewed. Or, for example, you can't review pass interference except to see if the ball was tipped prior to the penalty. Is there any good reason for the limits on how challenges can be used? That kind of sucks...Do they even bother to look at the jumbotron replaying it? Geez.
I hope that clears things up for you.
Not to mention that lesbian Clay Matthews DID hit Manning helmet to helmet earlier in the game and didn't get called for it. That was the most disgusting, atrocious excuse for "officiating" that I've seen in an NFL game for some time. I had to double check to make sure I wasn't watching the NBA.
