Thats what I am saying...Brady and Manning are on a level above anyone on the past 15 years or so
There are alot of PROMISING QBs like Rodgers and Brees and maybe Ryan but they have a LONG ways to even sniff the careers of #12 and #18
Agree, of course, re Brady and P. Manning. Favre was already in the league seven years when Manning joined the Colts in 1998.
IMO, Brees doesn't fall in the "promising" category, but has been in the league almost as long as Tommy (one year less) and has thrown and completed more passes with an 11 season pass rating of 91.7. Until the last couple of years he never had a supporting cast on the field or on the sidelines to compete with what Brady had, so his overall record as a starter is 79--58. He's only been to two championship games (AFCCG and Super Bowl) whereas TB has been to nine. He doesn't have Manning or Marino stats, so, if he's gonna make his case for Canton, he's going to have to play a couple of more Sunday evenings in February. Agree on Rodgers and the "maybe" on Ryan.
