cRAble was never injured. BB just see's potential that he isn't ready to give up on.
Which one's Crable?:confused2:
I agree that he is unlikely to make the 2010 squad.
However, is it really beyond the range of reasonable to believe that he MIGHT stay healthy enough to beat out Woods or Ninkovich?
Crable's problem isn't that he's been injured. It's that he sucks. If you think about it, he's been put on the IR twice in 2 years with a pulled hammy/calf muscle. Contrast that to how BB has handled more significant injuries with more significant players (AD's broken arm in 08, Fred Taylor's surgery last year, etc.) and you get the picture of how close this guy is to contributing.
Interesting theory. What makes you think that?
Its just too obvious. What was his injury history like in College? Have you seen any real evidence of him being injured? I believe BB wants him to get bigger and improve his lower body strength.
The bad thing is, if he gets injured again, the Pats can't cut him until 2011 or they give him an injury settlement. So if he gets injured again, he takes up another roster spot....again.I think this is Crable's last chance. If he gets injured again, he is gone. You cannot have 3yrs on injured-reserve, and expect to be a NFL player. He would be another BUST.
Sadly I don't think that We can have any level of expectation for this guy since he has been unable to stay healthy. If He's in the mix ,it's a pleasant surprise but really, what do We know about this guy ?

You're right, forgot about that. He's a 3rd round pick, so there's no big money involved. Besides, they could IR him again if they wanted to go that route. That doesn't cost a roster spot.
