I wonder what Moss is worth in a trade, given his age, and the apparent injury issues he suffered from this year?

How about this plan:

- Trade Randy Moss for a 2nd round pick in 2010.

- Sign Vincent Jackson.

- Sign Terrell Owens. Yes, I said it. You could get him for a 1-year deal for probably not very much money. I think he's got one more very good year left in him, and he's always been on pretty good behavior in his first year with a new team.

- Trade our top 2 2nd round picks in 2010 (plus a 3rd round pick in 2011 if necessary) for a mid-level 1st round pick in 2010. With that pick, try to land a bona-fide pass rusher, even if that guy has weaknesses in other areas.

- Use the remaining 2 2nd round picks in 2010 to add to the defense (preferably LB).

So your 2010 receiving corps: VJackson, TO, Edelman, Aiken, Tate (?) The big 3 of VJax, TO, and Edelman would be fine. Then in 2011, you replace TO with Welker, who should be fully healthy by then. Of course, its possible that in late 2010, Welker would be ready, then your big 3 would be VJax, TO, and Welker....yikes. Add Edelman for our 4 WR sets with TO and VJax on the outside, and Welker and Edelman in the slots. Holy smokes.

You've improved your WR corps at probably no more cost than it is now, and with the picks you've vastly upgraded the defense.

Draft Tebow and run the wildcat with Edelman. Brady's career is over, time to start getting creative.

heh...heh heh...yeah

I'll take "Things That Will Never Happen" for $500, Alex

Nope, I see him going in the top 5, and I'm willing to give up our entire draft to get him.

I think he's the type of locker room leader we've been missing, and could really have a positive effect on the younger guys. Plus I really admire a guy who puts proverbs on his eye black.

Come on, are you even following college??
the only teams who even coulb be interested in draft Tebow is Jax because of bringing fans, nobody else. I predict him to go late 2nd, drafted by a team like Jax, Bills, Vikings...(with no qb)

The only players I would trade all the draft for are Suh(What a beast) and Eric Berry(has the pontencial to be the best S in NFL).

I would trade Tenesse 2nd, Our 1st and a 4th for the Broncos Pick or something higher to draft Rolando McClain.

I really want to draft:
-Sergio Kindle-Just love the guy, he leads that Texas D, played great in pressure against Alabama.
-Jerry Hughes-Best pass rusher in draft.
-Jahvid Best-Spiller doesn't seems like a stun RB, I would go with Best or Dwyer.
-Brandon Graham- I would pick this guy if he is available in the secong round, so hard-worker.
-Mike Iupati-Good guard, Neal is getting old.
-Greg Romeus-Really like the guy.
-Brandon Spikes-If we can't get McClain, I would get this guy with a second after Graham.
-Dez Bryant or Golden Tate-Arguably the best recievers in the draft, would take them in the second, Bryant shoulb be picked earlier anyway.
Patrick Robinson-WE MUST SOLVE OUR CB PROBLEMS.

I really like this guys, most of them won't past 2nd round, maybe Romeus, but we would have to take them 1st and 2nd rounds.

Well NFL Draft Countdown has him going at #17, so to play it safe I think moving up to the 5/6 range would be prudent.

We don't want to miss out on this guy. He pisses excellence.

hahahahahah

Personally, I'd like to see them package their picks to move into the top 10 for Tim Tebow.

Thanks for that. I can't remember the last time I've laughed that hard at anything football-related.

How do you plan on signing Vincent Jackson? He's a restricted free agent. In all likelihood, the Chargers will tender him with the 1st-and-3rd tender, or just extend him before he hits the open market. You want to give up 1st and 3rd picks for him? (the Pats don't even have a 3rd)

We can presume that we will trade down for a 3rd.

So instead of potentially having Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, and Edelman well losing a 2nd round pick, you now have Vincent Jackson, Terrell Owens, and Edelman well losing a first, second (in the trade down), and a third?

I have never suggested getting rid of Moss or signing TO or jackson.

I merely stated that we could get a 3rd if we needed one.

If Tebow falls to the second round, I can see Belichick drafting him. Not as a QB, though, but as a TE. Belichick has been quoted as loving this kid and we all know how much he loves TEs. A good pass catchng TE could become Brady's best friend on he field.

OK, I'll say it. It would not be the worst thing in the world to sign a QB to a 4 year contract with the idea of extending his contract after a year or two. We might at least consider preparing for the future,

Laugh it up, when Tebow is wearing the blue and silver next year, and leads our team to the promised land, you'll rue the day you mocked my prescience.

With the things that are done in the name of religion around the world and after thousands of years, forgive me if I am underwhelmed by liking someone because he has proverbs on his eye black.

Judge him on the merit of his football, character and "fit" within the Patriots system not his religious standpoints.

The Titans and Jags 2nd round picks have to be determined by a coin toss at the combine.

They do not have a 3rd or 5th round pick (Burgess). They have two 7ths (Lewis).

I expect the Pats to receive between 2 and 4 compensatory picks based on who they lost and what they did for other teams.

EdelHuman to QB

Vollmer to Fullback

I'm a Gator fan. I wouldn't mind seeing Tebow in blue and silver as an H-Back with a third round pick (that we would have to trade for). But not as a first round pick. Besides, the guy is going to Jacksonville. Weaver actually thinks it will help ticket sales.

Thanks for the information, please keep BB away from the draft table

I hope they use all four of their top picks on players. With all the talent coming out in this draft, it could help the Patriots a lot. They don't need value anymore.

Draft day was interesting last year, lets hope for some nice surprises. Just a reminder the draft schedule is:
7:30 PM US EDT April 22 (RD 1)
6:30 PM US EDT April 23 (RD 2-3)
10:00 AM US EDT April 24 (RD 4-7)
