BB rips Casserly

He does. Shalise Manza Young reported about an hour after the Casserly story yesterday that Brady originally broke them in the preseason vs. Washington, and re-aggravated them against NYJ in Week 2. Bill Simmons reported that he broke them in Miami. Our own poster, mcsully, reported in early December that he had broken ribs, apparently from an MGH source.

I'm not quite buying into what Belichick is saying here. I think he knows Casserly has been right more often than not, and isn't happy about it.

I think the difference might be semantics since one man's cracked ribs are another's broken ones and Charlie also had the index finger broken when it's pretty clear it was the ring finger (so he was only off a couple of digits...). I think his and Bill's dislike stems from Charlie's time on the competition committee, and his insufferable pompous arrogance... He's used his residual insider access as a failed GM who was a member of the influential competition committee that has changed the way the game is played often for the worse to build himself a lucraticve career as an analyst. Bill appreciate everyone has a job to do but he doesn't seem to cotton to those who think they are entitled to step on anyone in their path to achieve their goal.

It is now obvious that BB does not read the posts on this board.

Brady may well have broken ribs, and BB could still take the shot at Casserly. BB is often misleading/lying when it comes to injury matters.
And we all know that Charlie Casserly (aka George Washington) has never told a lie nor ever been misleading. GTFU.

Hahaha, I love when Bill goes after people. Man, he can really tear them apart when he gets the mind to do it.

Schefter reported the finger, not Casserly.

When it comes to bones, a fracture is a break. Fracture is the term orthopedists use.

Um, Bill. In December 2006, some 9 months before Spygate came about, Casserly was on CBS talking about how the Pats were filming coaches' signals. He was 100% right on that one.

You mean QB signals? I don't get it.The guy was on the sideline with a tape recorder? Why? I'm assuming this is the QB at the LOS, because coaches relay their signals through a headset. So, what would the Patriots gain from a tape recorder when they can just get the audio from CBS? Makes no sense to me how you're matching that up with Spygate.

Touche' Pissah
... that was a wicked pissah of a post.:p

Wait a minute - so Brady doesn't have any broken ribs? I'm all  .

I'm not defending Casserly, but we were talking about it in the Patriots.com chat room yesterday and a lot of people were saying, "Yeah, he's had them since the Miami game."

Casserly is claiming Brady has THREE broken ribs and he waits until week 16 to say so?? Sorry Charlie!! I don't care who you are, you're not playing in an NFL football game with 3 broken ribs unless you want to cough up a piece of your lung at some point. Does Brady maybe have a hairline fracture in 1 rib and maybe a little cartilege tear in his ribcage or a bruise to another rib?? Very believable! Three BROKEN ribs?? Nah!! For Casserly to roll out this nonsense in week 16 is what sets BB off.

Meanwhile, while BB rips Casserly, Rex Ryan rips casserole. Hyuck hyuck hyuck.

"Who's been wrong more than Charley Casserly since he left the Redskins?"

You have, Bill.

Sunday's game is just another example of the wrong decisions you've made in both personnel & game management.

You really need to find a new team. Maybe Detroit or Cleveland would be good options for you.

4 SB (3 wins), 7 Divisions in one decade and a ton of upcoming picks to start the next decade is a damn good record IMO. Has he made mistakes ? My goodness yes. But he's clearly as good as it gets.

Don't confuse us with facts!

BB sucks. Fire him now and get Weis before it's too late.

Charlie Casserly -- not on the Christmas card list - Projo Pats Blog

So Bill had been warned, at least once, in 2006 not to tape opponent's signals; and in his stubborn, arrogant, egomaniacal hubris, he tapes opponent's signals on the very 1st game of the following season, without apparently seeking clarification on what can & cannot be taped without permission.

Thanks for costing us a championship & a 1st-round draft pick, "genius"(snicker).

captain stone officially goes overboard on this one. Belichick wins the Patriots THREE championships and then gets blamed for the phantom loss of one

Incorrect.

But I'm not going to go through Spygate again because of your astounding ignorance on the issue. You seem not to have the basics.

Are you drunk? High? Inhabited by an alien? Purposefully being dumb for the hell of it?

Never mind, I don't really care.
