So manning won mvp last year because his team won, even though other qb's had better stats. Yet back in the day when brady won, manning won cause he had better stats.

I was hoping we would consider drafting Collie. Garcon, I had no idea.

I agree with your point. The Pats are already receiving major contributions from Butler, Chung, Vollmer, Ingram, Edelman & Pryor - with Tate & Hoyer also seeing playing time. That's a pretty insanely good draft class. As for free agency, Bodden, TBC & McGowan were huge hits, Springs looks like a decent addition, while Galloway was the only major swing & miss.

His bills are paid by being a starting QB. Frankly, one of the reasons I find the Colts' fans base so pathetic is that they are accepting of Manning's gas piping in the playoffs and still treat the guy as if he's God's gift to the quarterback position because he beats up on crappy teams during the regular season.

Plus we got the extra twos in the trade downs. Galloway was a swing and a miss. Burgess may be a pop up. But when we look back at last year's draft plus the 2010 draft I think we'll see these drafts as the ones that restocked the Patriots for the next 5 years, what will keep the Patriots strong through the Brady years.

I find it funny that Manning's and Brady's postseason efficiency is nearly on par with eachother, yet, Brady is 14-3 and Manning is 7-8.

How do you explain the discrepency?

Brady's a vastly superior quarterback. Also, 26-12 vs. 22-17 for TD-INT comparison really isn't "nearly on par", particularly since Brady gets further into the playoffs and is playing the better/hotter teams as a result.

Finally, take out the Wild Card round, or at least find a way to weight it fairly, and you should start to see the difference even more starkly:
