I think the Jets problems go way deeper than that. I live in Manhattan and, like it or not, follow the Jets in the tabloids and NYT every day. Sanchez has lost the confidence of his teammates and has pretty well been exposed as an OK QB who doesn't want to work too hard. I was very disappointed (for him) when his reaction to what was really just a one year extension of his contract with nothing guaranteed past 2013 was to say that now the team would have to respect him as leader.

But, by far, the most interesting part of the dysfunctional offseason was to follow the mass delusion among Jets media and fans about Peyton's joining the team. It exposed a lot of desperation. And, Joe Willie had it right all along...no way he was ever going to climb on board that circus.

I think the Tebow situation will turn into another circus. Based on what I read here, Woody "Is the Ball Stuffed with Feathers" Johnson is pulling another stunt to sell those pesky PSL's he can't unload.

I think it is reasonable to assume the Pats will win 12 or more games next year.
