I know a lot of people are going to think I’m crazy to sign a safety to a big money deal because that is maybe our strongest position in 2021. However this is likely DMac’s last year and we don’t really have an ideal replacement. JJIII is one of the most underrated players in the league and in my opinion he is already an elite safety. At only 25 he is already one of the best coverage safeties in the NFL and has the versatility to line up anywhere. I won’t go into too much detail here but I think he is a perfect fit and a guy I wouldn’t hesitate building the defence around for the next 5 years.
