There has been absolutely no mention anywhere, that I can find about the Pats interest in Chris Long. Sure they may have attended his pro day. But no word on a private workout or pre-draft visits. Discuss.

It's very unlikely but you can't say for sure that any team would take him over the following :

Ellis
Dorsey
McFadden
J. Long
Ryan
Gholston

That's a viable top six which would have C. Long there at #7. It's a longshot for sure but not wholly unrealistic.

Don't get me wrong, it would put a smile on my face if he landed on our roster. But he's being projected as being the first pick overall in the draft and some of those teams could really use him. He'll be off the board by the time we draft. I can't say it with 100% certainty, but I'm near 90%.
