You have 1 choice to pick from the selections in the poll - and if you had only ONE choice,What would it be that you would do first before making any further decisions in FA?

Moss now.
VG with #7.
CBs in later rounds.

Moss is FAR better than any available FA corner or linebacker.

Trade Tom Brady to SF for Patrick Willis.

That'll shore up our linebacker woes.

I went with a good inside linebacker for several reasons...

Brady has thrown to no names for many years before Moss and did well at that.

I think the current status of our linebacker situation is near pathetic even though its way early in free agency, but even though its early there is not a really good LB I can see that would make a world of difference other than Briggs who is a 4-3 LB,But still theres got to be a guy that can help in the least
I mean right now we have a 35 year old slow Bruschi,Adalius Thomas which has not shown as much as we thought he would last year and Vrabel who looked tired as the playoffs went on,besides those guys there are JAGS galore on the roster now and the draft can help but you are asking too much for a rookie to make a sudden impact that would make a difference immediately which is what the team needs,A playmaking linebacker

Corner is also important but there are some decent looking Corners out there - Good Linebackers are slim

Randy Moss FTW

Gotta go with Moss, he makes this offense very good, the D stuff will fall into place.

"Something else": Trade my 1st round pick to Atlanta for DeAngelo Hall, thier 1st round pick next year and hopefully a second or third this year. My opinion on Moss: great wide receiver, but the objective is to win superbowls and he didn't seem to have much of an impact on that goal so to break the bank trying to retain him doesn't make much sense. We need secondary help and to be able to get Hall would be the best for the team.

Again a succesful offseason would be,

Resign Moss
Resign Gaffney
Sign two of the following- Hobson, Haggins, or Boss Bailey
Sign Ty Law
Trade for Lito Shepard,

and either trade with Dallas for 2 picks and take 2 starters that will help us, or stay where we are and go for Golston..

Bingo, bingo. You got Bingo!!

If we get Gholston in the first, we can move up in Round 2. We have that 3 from Oakland. Early in Round 3. We might be able to get two pretty good cb's and Gholston in the draft.
Say, P.Lee and C.Jackson.

Other:
Stick to PATs Team Building Philosophy ... Determine a Players worth
to your system, be sure you are right, make the offer but never accept
a deal that is way off your evaluation. If that rule means you lose a Randy Moss
... so be it.

That formula has worked and got us 3 superbowls ... it will work going forward.

We need more defensive players.
Randy's great....but he's breaking my heart....

Great Poll !! I went with a good linebacker. Please don't get me wrong, I would love to see Moss back as a Patriot, but with a really good defense, his services wouldn't be as crucial. I would rather see us shore up our lb corp with a proven veteran that can quickly grasp BB's defense rather than gamble on an unproven rookie. Is it too late to get Willis from San Fran?

Seriously, do you think the Falcons would make this trade? I mean deep down. This is idiotic. Why would they even consider this?

I went with a LB. I'd rather shore up the defense and have a great D and decent O than a great O and decent D.

I'd rather have john abraham if you can get him cheap

You don't think they would? That's idiotic. Why wouldn't they? C'mon.
