Falcons had the 27th!!!! ranked defense when they made it. Now THAT was a fluke.

Chiefs 24th this year. Rams 20th. All trash

Rams played way above their heads in this game.

Patriots had the 7th best defense. Played like they were number 1. Wasn't as much of a stretch for them.

Idk. Pats defense wasn’t good at all in 2011 and they were a dropped pass (or) a great catch by Manningham within winning the whole thing.

Even last night’s game was close with 4:00 remaining. Historically speaking, you’re right, but there have certainly been some exceptions.

What metric are you using in your rankings? Points per game, I would assume.
