Playing mostly an in-the-box role which is contrast to the two-deep safety position he played in his first four seasons, Chung has been very solid in all phases of the game.

Boom. As an in-the-box safety, Chung has always been decent. Playing deep is where he's been a disaster and he hasn't been asked to do that nearly as much this season.

He has been a pleasent surprise. SS was the only question mark going in and now it's as solid a secondary as any in football. Chung's a smart kid and a good dude, too. Just watched his open-mike charity highlights.
