29.
Allen Robinson, WR, Penn State
BB has never drafted a first round WR but this year they have been all over first round WRs, often a good indication of interest. One of the players they haven't contacted pre-draft is the former BOB WR who just happens to be 6-3 and run a 6.5 3-cone. I don't think that's a coincidence. If BB is going to break his first round WR duck, it will be on such a specimen.

Dominique Easley, DE/DT, Florida
I do think BB is interested in getting more aggressive up-front and one-gapping specialist Dominque Easley would fit that change of philosophy. His big win though is that he's equally comfortable playing as an edge guy as well as a 3-tech. He'll be able to give Nink and Chandler a much needed breather next year as well as giving us that inside threat.
93.
CJ Fiedorowicz, TE, Iowa
Drafting a TE is a necessity and CJF is a really nice fit. He'll be what we were hoping Jake Ballard was going to be: a Gronk backup, red zone threat and an extra blocker.

Christian Kirksey, Iowa, LB
Iowa as this years Rutgers? Kirksey is a very accomplished linebacker both against the run and in coverage. Not as flashy as Lavonte David or as athletically gifted as Ryan Shazier, but he is a very good primary backup that can start if needed.
140
Brock Vereen, S/CB, Minnesota
A typical BB player; versatile, athletic, a leader and smart. He's also Shane's brother. A very BB pick I think.
198
Marion Grice, RB, Arizona St.
A former WR, Marion Grice comes from the Kevin Faulk, Danny Woodhead, Shane Vereen school of receiving running backs.
206.
John Urschel, OL, Penn State
The moment this guy gets drafted, he probably becomes the smartest guy in the NFL. And you want to have smart guys if you are looking for a centre.
244. Kenny Guiton, QB, Ohio State
Athletic, strong arm, very smart and great teammate. How many backup QBs get voted team captain by their peers. So long as BB et al are comfortable with his QB skills, Guiton has to be a good possibility for the Pats.
Note 1. If I had an extra 5th rounder,
Matt Patchan of BC would have been the pick. A typically Patriot-like long and athletic OT. Takes Svitek's roster spot.
Note 2. Keep an eye out for
Kevin Pamphile of Purdue. An athletic OT that projects as a guard. Late rounder or UDFA but BB does like to get his UDFAs from the bigger schools and conferences usually.
Also,
Nikita Whitlock is probably the most BB type player in the draft. He's a 5-11, 250lb NT
, and obviously he won't be playing there in the NFL but this guy, playing NT for Wake Forest, wasn't that far behind AAron Donald in terms of production. He apparently showed well at his pro day in FB drills and rocked up a 6.88 3-cone at over 250lbs.
