His first absence of the season I believe, even after the earlier blow he took during the New Orleans game. That may explain why he was on the sideline for the second half of Sunday night's game.
That's something certainly to monitor considering Brady was finally starting to hit his stride. He's the 2nd leading receiver in terms of receptions (35), and third behind Edelman (28) and Gronkowski (24) in receiving first downs with 23. Seemed like he was starting to come on recently. Have to say overall it's hard not to be pleased with the progress he's made and he had been fairly reliable up until this past game and obviously today, especially having toughed out the last shot he took earlier in the year.
Hopefully this isn't too serious. He's been a big part of this team being able to start stretching the field a bit. From a deep ball standpoint Brady's connected on 4-of-10 on "Deep Left" plays to him this season, 2 have been touchdowns. He's only 1-of-9 throwing to him deep on the right side. Makes you wonder what the reasoning is behind that.
He's also the only player on the team with an offensive gain of over 50 yards, having made two. The team has three total, with Danny Amendola accounting for the other.
