Blount is the last person who should be drawing the ire of Pats fans. Must be a bunch of childish, low IQ idiots sending these messages. I've never made a social media post to any athlete before. If that's how people really want to vent their frustrations, they should be looking at the Pats' defensive players who failed to stop him + gave up several chunk plays to the rest of Blount's teammates. Excluding Gilmore and M Butler... maybe Harrison.

I just tweeted him to congratulate him on his new, well-earned ring. Loved Blount when he was here, on and off the field, and he ran great yesterday.

We are not well liked as a fan base and “fans” like that don’t help. I see them on PFT comments too.

The 'downside' of being as successful as the Pats have been are the staggering number of bandwagon idiots that associate themselves with the team.

Yeah, I have no issues with Blount. he played well here, and he's played well in Philly. A professional athlete.

If you love football as I do, you should be willing to appreciate a good, solid, player no matter what team he plays for.

I've worn the Patriots laundry since '74. I'll always be a New England Patriots fan before anything else, but I am also a fan of the game, and I'm happy to give a nod to another team's player(s) when I see something good on the field.

Both Blount & Long helped win us that last ring when things were dicey. I won't forget about that.

Yes, happy for Blount. And think about Long. Went all that time in St. Louis with nothing to show for it and in two years, has two rings. Talk about lucky.

There's an easy way to prevent getting harassed on twitter. Stay off twitter. I don't have much sympathy for people that give tens of millions of people the ability to talk s*** to them and then are surprised when a few do.

It's like living downtown, leaving your door open all day every day and getting surprised when you get robbed.

Yeah the world has a**holes in it, part of your job in life is to not allow them into your life because an a**holeless world will never exist.

It made it worse that it our guys from last year being important factors in this loss. I don't hold it against them at all though. I'm not going to turn on guys I like for no reason. It does make me a bit nostalgic for when players stayed with teams longer in sports, more bitter and hateful rivalries happened.

ANyone basing the internet for how real fans are probably believe brady was guilty and “destroyed” his phone as some kind of obstruction of the “investigation”.

In fact, most of these online fans are spoiled, bandwagon millennials.

Blount ought to keep his mouth shut about it too. Just like not all in Philly punch horses, whoever is tweeting crap at him is a minority. Just block them and shut your mouth LG.

Even though we lose, i was happy for Blount. He loved being a Patriot. He should have been wearing blue not green on Sunday. For his price, we needed the physical back, it's not like he scored something ridiculous like 18 TDs and had over 1,000 yards for us.
