The Patriots have far greater needs at inside linebacker and cornerback than wide receiver.Well to be fair, you probably should of prefaced alot of your statements different.
anyways Why wouldn't the Cards trade him to a team in an Oppisite Confrence, and if the pats had the best deal out there for the Cards, they wouldn't trade them to the Pats BECAUSE...?
That tells me why you think the Pats wouldn't trade for him.The Patriots have far greater needs at inside linebacker and cornerback than wide receiver.
If your scoring 40 points a game, your need for LB's and CB's isn't such a need anymore. The Patriots have far greater needs at inside linebacker and cornerback than wide receiver.
I told you why. Is your reading comprehension that bad? That tells me why you think the Pats wouldn't trade for him.
But you said The Cards wouldn't trade him to the pats.
Try to follow the bouncing ball here.
The D-Line and O-Line are some of the best players in the League. So where does that Money need to go?
Anyways in 2011 there might not be a cap anyways, and with the ticket prices there charging, they better spend BIG if that happens.
If your scoring 40 points a game, your need for LB's and CB's isn't such a need anymore.
My opening remarks said you can't pay him more than Moss, maybe you missed that.Last season, without Larry Fitzgerald, the New England Patriots scored 36.8 points per game. Anyone who would sink $10 million plus per season into Fitzgerald and think that it would
A.) make much difference on the scoreboard
B.) not piss off Moss
really needs to re-think their notions.
The Patriots scored the most points EVER in a sixteen game regular season schedule, the end result was still a Super Bowl loss. The Patriots losses have been substantial on defense during this off-season. The New York Giants proved great defense can slow down great offense. If your scoring 40 points a game, your need for LB's and CB's isn't such a need anymore.
First off, I would rather sink my money into Starters, instead of Backups,D-line: backup for Big Vince.
O-line: the right side needs work. I seem to recall a game called the superbowl where a guy called Brady spent the whole game on his ass because some people couldn't stop anyone on that line... but that's me.

Then he won't be playing for the Patriots this season since that would be over a 50% pay cut in 2008.My opening remarks said you can't pay him more than Moss, maybe you missed that.
You're the aberration on this message board. That was an abberation
Just like in 2004?That was an abberation
Let me tell you something about "Salary Caps" in the NFL when you have a WR making 16 or 17 Mill. in this day in age. Thoose years were never intended to be honered. Just like Clements contract with the 49ers you can say 8 years 80Mill. But everyone knows he'll never see the end of that contract.Fitzgerald is making about $16 million this season and $17 million next season. Even with extensions and the like, you'll be paying him more than $10 million a season or being held hostage to a contract for about a decade.
Maybe you've missed that. As I said: Salary cap.

And He wouldn't be the first player to leave a pathetic organazation for a run with a Great Team for Less than Market Value.
It's not giving away anything if in reality your never gonna see it.Wait.... you think Fitzgerald's just going to give away more than $15 million dollars over two years so that he's making less than Moss but gets to be the #3 receiver on the New England Patriots?
Have you been huffing?
It's not giving away anything if in reality your never gonna see it.
And If Moss is all about winning he shouldn't really care what other people are getting paid, if it was that big of an issue, he could of put a clause in his contract that said if they pay another WR More than 9 Mill. Then his salary matches it, just like the Gaurd on the Vikings (Hutchensin)
For The Worst Topic of 08 you Sure did spend alot of time Here. The Arizona Cardinals will not trade Fitzgerald. End of discussion. This topic is one of the worst if not the worst so far on the PatsFans message board in 2008.
