I hope we don't win the coin toss or if we do,we decide to let the Charger Offense start first.

I think if we can stop the Chargers on a 3 and out or at least hold them to nothing in the first series,it will give us an emotional edge and our offense usually starts off well when things like this happen......Then again if they score points it could backfire,But I don't see them scoring on first possesion so I think taking the second half kickoff would be better than starting off with the ball.

Take the crowd out of the game and the game quickly becomes a neutral site - Thats the key to winning this game,Start off emotional and stay there and shut the Charger fans up.

I want to see our offense put a drive together like they did last week to open the Jet game. That will quiet the fans down.

Of course, if we start on offense and drive down for an early score, we've got control of the game from the get-go and they're already on the defensive on OFFENSE. I don't know which way I'd rather it go, but I know the outcome I want to see regardless of the who gets the ball first:

I want to see the Patriots establish something on both offense and defense on the first drive each way. I want this game to be in control from the start. If this becomes a scoring shootout, I don't think our offense can keep up with their offense.

my Madden strategy.....

always defer 'till the 2nd half.

I don't know why - especially with our very good D - we EVER take the ball on the coin toss. Our D can stop most teams, and it's always better to get the ball back in the 2nd half.

If you're losing, "Hey, at least we get the ball back first."

If you're winning, "Cool, we've got the lead AND we get the ball."

I don't get why we don't do that EVERY TIME.

I didn't realize a game was decided in the 2 seconds the coin is in the air.
