It's easy, and only takes a few moments.it could be a good opportunity to have someone that would be relatively cost-effective for the next 3 year....I would think he would be better than any option coming out of college.....
looks like they want to trade him

The Pats are NOT going 4-3 full time and are still in the 3-4 mode.
I don't get how Albert would be more happy here than in Washington where he is already in the midst of the similar defensive formation he does not like.
If I were Shanahan, I piss him off and send him to the Raiders.
That would indeed be funny, but I don't think the Raiders can afford Haynesworth because of the Asomugha contract. Maybe the Raiders could convince the Skins to take Asomugha for Haynesworth? They do need a DT and they play the 4-3 base defense.
You ever actually watched the guy play? You can't get hung up on someone's size when discussing what position they are going to play. There is more to football than height and weight. Guys like Welker, Brees, and Ngata are living proof of that (Ngata is a "prototypical" 345 lb 3-4 NT who is also an excellent 3-4 DE).The guy is 350lbs. He might be able to play DE in certain situations and spot duty like Wilfork has. He might be fast for his size, but a 350lb guy is too slow to be an every or even most down DE in the 3-4.
We will all find out if Albert is a stud or just a product of Jeff Fisher's defense and the way the Titans played or did he just have an off and injured year last year in Washington?.
Too many questions remain on this player that maybe just a few teams want to take a chance on.....Maybe the Titans reconsider and make an offer, who knows?
The Eagles had a chance to get him in the McNabb package deal at what some here call a reasonable offer but passed...If that does not tell you something about him,I don't know what will.
There have been many players throughout NFL history who have played outstanding football for the team that drafted them for years, then bombed totally therafter once traded or jumped to another team,Albert could be that type of guy.
Haynesworth actually played really well last year.

The only way I see him going to a 3-4 team is as a NT. If the Redskins were even confident he would be great at that, they wouldn't have even considered trading him since they just gave him a huge roster bonus that they are unlikely to get back unless they give Haynesworth away for a later round pick by convincing the team acquiring him to pick up that tab.
On a side note, if the Redskins do trade him and do not get back the roster bonus, they would have paid Haynesworth about $27 million for one year's worth of service. And that year was disapointing to say the least.
