People immediately forgot the Eagles were an afterthought until the 49ers and Lions injuries took over. They would’ve been eliminated by either team had they been healthy. They got dog walked by the Eagles who are good but not a powerhouse. Tells us all we need to know. Statistically meh. A 11 win caliber team pretending to be a 15-2 team. They had the record they had and got to the game because the AFC is terrible and timely calls from the refs put them over the top. It was only a matter of time before their luck ran out. Sure I’d take most other SB teams to beat them.
The AFC was absolutely dogshit and the Chiefs benefitted from the Bills and Ravens facing each other in the divisional round. The Chiefs were a terrible “Super Bowl” team.
Questions came up during the 3rd to 4th quarter of the season after they lost games in a blowout to Tennessee, the Miami disaster and Pittsburgh. They were having an hard time throwing the ball especially when Josh Gordon quit on the team.Im on the fence about the 2018 Pats. They had a couple of really bad losses but they could still score a lot of points.. slumped then pivoted to a power run game that was hard to stop. Coached really well. I think they beat a lot of Super Bowl teams with the way the defense played in the Sb
