Worried About Tom Brady???

Maybe it's Master Belichick at work, peppering a few rumors out there, and forcing the Jags to come up with 2 defensive schemes - one with Brady and one without. Now THAT would not surprise me, being the genius he is.

Hey you never know with Belichick, but the injury report is the clincher for me. You're not allowed to mess around with those, or you risk getting sanctioned by the NFL. Then again, we know Belichick doesn't care much for rules!

Yeah, I can see the two defensive schemes thing. Imagine the Jags, prepping for Brady, when all of a sudden they get Cassel instead? I'd have to think that would be an advantage for the Pats.

I actually heard that Chad Brown was going to be the one QBing...that was why they resigned him during the season. They taught him the offense and put him on the shadow roster in case Tom got hurt, with that bum shoulder we've all known he's had.

Do you think after Cassel wins the SB we could trade an injured Brady to Buffalo for a couple of draft picks? Or are they to smart to fall for that trick again?

At this point, I think I'd trade Brady for a dozen footballs. I think Cleveland is looking to unload Derek Anderson. I think with Belichick's friendly relationship with Romeo Crennel, we may have the inside track on getting Derek. I think Tom Brady would make a decent backup for Brady Quinn. Maybe give Cleveland Tom Brady and the San Fran. first rounder pick for Derek Anderson.

No way. We have been grooming Cassel for all these years. He's ready to step up! I feel it!!

I just checked. Injury reports says right shoulder and "probable". He's fine, and he's playing. Trust me. Maybe a sore shoulder would be my guess.

All this "he dislocated shoulder" stuff in nonsense.

Does Mars have the internet? After reading this thread I'm starting to think so.

Actually, maybe we could get Brady Quinn. They have the same name, maybe nobody would notice the difference?

Hmmm. OK. The whole thing still seems a little fishy to me, but what the hell, I'll trust you.

And you're right, it's probably just a sore shoulder, no biggie.

Geez, who would think a Chargers fan would put us all at ease! I'm kind of ashamed of my fellow Pats fans to be honest, this is info we easily could have checked out ourselves before we started panicking.

So if anyone hasnt noticed, on about every NFL website it says that Tom Brady is injured and is probable for this Saturday's game against Jacksonville. I know that probable means that there is a very good chance Brady will play but I think this is a very important issue and is not getting enough attention.
A pathetic attempt at trolling!

That reason alone is why I feel they won't make a move for Brady Quinn. Brady Quinn has already achieved Pele, Ichiro, or Madonna status that he is already simply known by his first name. Jersey sales are a huge part of the merchandising revenue stream in the NFL. People aren't gonna shell out $200+ for a new jersey when they can just change one number on the jersey. Bob Kraft won't allow for them to make a move for Brady Quinn simply for the Patriots Pro Shop profit margin reasons alone.

ok, enough fun and games. For those of you too dense to see what is going on here

Tom Brady has been on the injury report every week for as long as we can remember. He is fine.

now, back to the sanity

Panicking? who was panicking? Brady is nothing more than a "system QB" plug in either of the Matt's and we will be fine. Anybody can throw to Wes and Randy.

Besides, a sore shoulder would not be surprising - he's been throwning enough damn TD passes all season long.

Grow up...that's part of the BB strategy and you know it. For those who don't like it....

TOUGH S**T!!

That's what I figured. Ha-ha Pats fans, I bit.

Yup!

Drew Bledsoe has come out of retirement to save the Patriots one last time (as was the case in the 2002 AFC Championship Game).

Well if that's the case ... Philip Rivers shoulder should be fresh.
