It's easy, and only takes a few moments. You'd think people would learn from the Seahawks that more often than not, the better team overcomes the better player. Sure, there are isolated cases that burn in painful memory and anything can happen on the day (given Messi is a footballing genius) but I fail to see how Argentina is going to match the German midfield. They run in waves and they do it from whistle to whistle. Heaven forbid Lahm gets going at RB. Germany 2-1.Germany looks like the best team but Argentina has the best player in the world. I am rooting for Messi and Argentina because i really think he deserves his place in history and the Cup guarantees that. Argentina's defense has solidified throughout the tournament and they have shut out some really good teams in the knockout stages, so Germany isn't going to get the free reign they had against Brazil. Should be a great match, can't wait.

Why do the Brazilians keep booing the poor team.
The only good thing I can think of that came from watching the third-place playoff game was that it made me even happier that neither of those sides will be in the Final.
Brazil were awful even when the pressure to succeed was off. You'd think that they could at least go out and play like ... you know, Brazil. Both sides were extremely dirty and cynical. And after admiring the way that Robben played in the Costa Rica game he confirmed everything that the Robben-haters say of him -- throwing himself to the turf at the slightest excuse.
A question for Brits. What's the Portuguese for "It's just like watching Barnsley"?
still a couple of hours and it will begin a long-awaited final - who knows if Argentina recovers at the last minute Di Maria ... 'our' Rizzoli is the referee of the game (bravo)
I hope it is a pretty exciting game
They are actually controlling the game a bit more than Argentina yet, thanks to a couple blunders, Argentina has had 3 incredible scoring opportunities and failed to convert. Strange game.Germany looks like they're playing on their heels.
I think that's exactly it. These sports should have league assigned (impartial) doctors to do evaluations. And obviously even soccer is not immune to concussion issues. I'm not sure if it's even worse here because of the three-sub rule.
