Hard NO on Kliff Kingsbury. The others are still unknown quantities who could be great or not.

Agree completely, he’s a terrible head coach.

King Tet Scouting Report:

McMillan boasts a rare combination of size, hands, and route-running acumen that scouts covet in a WR1 prospect. His ability to win at all three levels of the field, coupled with his red-zone prowess, projects him as a day-one impact player. McMillan's route tree sophistication and ability to create separation through technique suggest a high floor as he transitions to the pro game.

McMillan has the kind of hands that a quarterback will come to love. He’s effortless with how he plucks the ball away from his frame, vacuums in passes quickly, and converts into a run-after-the-catch athlete.

At the next level, McMillan profiles as a scheme-versatile receiver who can be moved around the formation to create mismatches. His contested catch ability and knack for making plays in crucial situations should make him a favorite target on third downs and in the red zone. While he may face an adjustment period against the physicality of NFL corners, his college production against top competition indicates he has the tools to overcome this challenge.

McMillan's ceiling as a potential alpha receiver, combined with his floor as a reliable possession target, positions him as one of the premier wide receiver prospects in this draft class. His skill set and physical tools align with what NFL teams seek in a franchise wideout, making him a likely early selection and a player expected to make an immediate impact at the next level.

Wow!! Sounds almost as good as this guy! Hopefully we can get Tet early in Round 2.

—Ideal No. 1 wide receiver build at 6'2" and a rocked-up 228 pounds with long arms, long legs and broad shoulders.
—Owns the 50-50 ball with some Randy Moss-type plays on tape; elevates from the field flawlessly and has a great ability to adjust and track the ball in the air.
—Uses his length and leaping ability to make big plays in the red zone and on the boundary when going up to attack the ball.
—Knows how to separate with his body and route-running ability; running a 4.53 at the scouting combine was a major win for him.

- Yards-after-catch master who's physical running with the ball in his hands; looks to pick up extra yardage and doesn't go down easily.
—Big enough to beat press coverage off the line of scrimmage; has some Michael Thomas-like confidence and play style at the line when corners try to walk up on him.
—Loves football and plays with a dog mentality; will stalk block and get physical in the run game; not afraid to take on tacklers.

Hmmm 6’5” is a big difference compared to 6’2”. Also, not sure who you are implying in this scouting report. Sounds like N’Keal Harry in a maladroit attempt to be cheeky…in that case here is alternative scouting report on Harry that shows you the vast differences between he and King Tet.

Team sources call Harry not real twitchy or explosive. They worry about how he is not fast in and out of breaks and don’t see suddenness. Some sources said that Harry reminded them of Ole Miss wideout Laquon Treadwell, who is currently headed toward bust status for the Vikings. Some other sources say they are grading Harry on the second day of the 2019 NFL Draft and feel he is akin to Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Devin Funchess. One team source said they originally planned on grading Harry in Round 2, but were lowering him to the third round.

GFC, this guy hasn't even played against REAL TALENT, Yet you clowns want to call him all-world.
I have to laugh..thanks guys, I was getting bored.

They drafted a lot of different receivers over the years who sucked. N'Keal Harry, Chad Jackson, Taylor Price, Brandon Tate, Tyquan Thornton, Aaron Dobson, seemingly Jaylin Polk now... any WR on the board is probably going to have some parallels to one of those guys in some regard. We've gotta let it go. Evaluate the WRs for their own tape and projection without always trying to compare them to Harry or whoever.

Let's be honest nobody wanted to come here. Ridley , aiyya or the Jets tackle are not tearing it this year. So at least we have residual 30 million to overspend next year . But yes, our draft has been rank bad last year . So I am hoping wolf makes some course corrections. I am sure he would be wiser after Polk debacle .

We are not sure if a new guy will also hit it out the park, but at least we know that wolf will be determined to try to hit it outta the park. So let's keep the belief and hope he repays it.

To paraphrase the founder of Bubba Gump: Stupid drafting & coaching is as Stupid drafting & coaching does.

My solution:
- Fire All of the children upstairs and hire the best GM, College scouting director & Pro scouting director that money can buy;
- Fire Rothstein the ****ing gweep that Phatt Matt brought here from Detroit;
- Fire Cuvvy the WR from Samford poseuring as a defensive Coordinator; fire the Safeties & CBs coaches too, aka the Last vestiges of Bill's Friends & Family plan.
- Fire the two embarrassingly incompetent Clowns "coaching" our WRs... to do Absolutely ****ing Nothing.

The New Boss gets to decide the fate of the rest.

I was trying to think of a good comp for McMilan, there aren't many. He is such smooth effortless route runner, great hands, plays with a lot of finesse but very physical at the point of attack, pretty unique for a WR at 6ft 5.. Someone mentioned Randy Moss like, well if God wanted to play wide reciever he would be Randy Moss, so i would be careful with that. Moss had all those things above at a much higher elite level, more athletic, and comine that with his 4.25 speed, unstoppable. A good comp would be Chris Collinsworth. 4.5 speed, long elongated strides, daemon in the red zone, anywhere on the field actually, can box out like a tight end. Not saying i would pick him over Travis Hunter but he would be in my top three WRs. Nice big target for Drake Maye.

@Real fan 02: Imagine if Wolf lands Tee Higgins I get the feeling if Travis Hunter is available he's ours. I am dreaming of Tee Higgin/T Hunter or Tee Higgins/T McMillan.

I'm trying instead to imagine Wolf being Unemployed on Black Monday...

Harry didn’t really want to play football. He was a jump ball receiver/blocker exclusively. From what little I’ve seen, that’s not McMillan.

Nope. Those who compare McMillan to Harry haven't watched any tape.

- First off, McMillan is projected top 5-10 in the draft by every draft pundit. Harry was selected at 32, and many draft pundits had him rated going in the 2nd-3rd round. Big difference in quality.
- Harry was 6'2 with tiny hands. McMillan is 6'5 with huge hands.
- Harry used his body to catch passes, alligator armed passed. McMillan is the opposite. He is like a vacuum catching passes plucking balls from the air with his hands only, catches everything with his hands doesn't use his body.
- Harry had no YAC ability. McMillan is a beast after the catch, accelerating up field with fluidity and speed.
- Harry's game tape showed zero separation ability. McMillan is always getting open on film, even with no help around him and teams game planning entirely around stopping him.
- Harry had no toughness, not a bone in his body. McMillan is tough and plays tough!
- Production. Harry never had eye popping games even in college. McMillan has put up some monster performances.

Instead of blaming Wolf for not turning around a bereft roster in one year (with a nepotistic & inept HC, and first-time OC & DC)
Let's give him the benefit of the doubt for 1 more offseason and focus on fixing the staff positions that are likely to be replaced.
DC - Covington is liked by players, but he's completely failed as DC.
IF you can't fire the HC (also defense) then Kraft absolutely HAS to fire DC for taking a top 10 unit and turning it into complete garbage in the span of 6 games, with the same roster as last year.

Possible DC replacements for discussion:
- Stevie B (UW is top-10 D in ncaa. Humble pie for Mayo to acknowledge who was really running D last couple years)
- Eberflus (currently unpopular, but he's been a good DC in Indy & Dallas - learned under Pees, M. Kiffin, Mangini, R. Ryan)
- Phil Parker (DC of Iowa - worked for BB disciple Ferentz for last 12 years)
- Saleh (a very good DC, Jets & Rogers just jetted him and everyone else)

They were at rock bottom last year because of Jonathan and Wolfs collaboration, now we’re stuck there because of that same collaboration.

The roster and execution are getting worse, not better. We’re officially the Patsies again…. back to the 1980’s.
