Kraft isn't signing players, that's up to the GM ie Belichick. I trust his judgement on how much to pay or not pay Revis. He's a smart guy.

Same story, different year......there will always be players that are favorites that are released as they sign New faces. There will be a player or two released where fans say what the F

Sure. I remember when Ty Law and Lawyer Milloy became cap casualties. You can't keep 'em forever.

Like everyone else, I hope Revis is a fixture in the defense for a few more years.

Me too.

If Revis leaves for more cash then that is on him- not the Pats, Belichick or Bob Kraft.

Agree.

MG... Amendola doesn't really belong on this list. He's under contract and not a free agent. I take your point that they may target him as a way to re-coup some cap space, but that's the situation for any number of players on the roster who you haven't listed.

Maybe start a second list of guys under contract with ripe cap numbers... you could put Amendola on the top of that list. Arrington, Wendell, Dennard, Hooman...all equally viable targets for an unsolicited cutback. Arbitrarily picking Danny out of that group is just feeding the unsubstantiated rumor mill.

You're correct. Browner and Revis are listed because they have bonuses due.

With Amendola, no decisions need to be made today. But make no mistake, Amendola is #1 on the list of players who will be asked to revise their contracts soon. We are playing $4M ($5M next year) for our #3 WR. That MAY be OK, but a decision will be made soon with regard to whether to pursue a mid-level wide receiver.

If im understanding what Howe and Holley said on the radio its that Browner is probably going to get an extension and not be allowed a trade. They dont want him to come to camp unhappy so they offer him a new deal with guranteed money to lessen his hit this year and have a happy Browner who might have felt slighted with all the big money deals being thrown around to corners so far.

I (and others) have been discussing a Browner extension for months. Restructuring (with no change in compensation) and saving $1.9M has always been Plan B for me.

The team took a risk with Browner. He paid off. Hopefully, now is that time to extend Browner for 2-3 years.
