Because someone else may want a QB.Why would they want to trade with us knowing we don’t need a qb
Because another team could potentially be looking to trade for the player they possibly want at the Patriots pick. Why would they want to trade with us knowing we don’t need a qb
YuckNo trade. Take Hunter. Fire Mayo and bring Deion with him.
Edit: I'm going for the bag since we have number 1 overall
I said Rex somewhere yesterday too. I may or may not have had 100 mgs of gummies.Yuck
He’s 6’1 185Guys with Hunter's build have never gone #1 overall in the history of the NFL draft (past 52 years anyway). In fact, the only player drafted #1 overall who was under 6 feet was Earl Campbell.
Let somebody else move up to #1 to grab him. He's a piece for a win-now team. He's not a guy to build a team around.
However, the #1 pick changes the whole draft board so the suspected haul will be too much to pass on.Guys with Hunter's build have never gone #1 overall in the history of the NFL draft (past 52 years anyway). In fact, the only player drafted #1 overall who was under 6 feet was Earl Campbell.

They may prefer Ward over Sanders, or vice versa. Some people don't like seconds so the Browns or Giants might trade up to #1 to jump over the Titans. The Titans might trade up to ensure the Browns and Giants can't jump over them. Knowing we don't want a QB makes trading with them possible. Why would they want to trade with us knowing we don’t need a qb

Champ Bailey didn’t go 1 but he was 6’0 192 and probably would go first in a redraft in most years.
Charles Woodson was 6-1 202.
We already have the QB. What player do you build the team around?I muffed that. I see that ESPN has him listed at 6'1".
Point still remains that he's not a guy to rebuild a team that is as as devoid of NFL talent as the Pats (or Giants for that matter). Trade back and let a team better built to win-now roll those dice.
So if the Patriots trade back in a swap for 3, get this years 2nd and next years 1st + 2nd you are not taking Travis Hunter? Anyone that thinks this rebuild is getting us a SB in year 2 is not seeing the big picture. I’d find it to be a huge success if they just made the wild card. Get your free agent money, sign Alaric Jackson from the Rams, draft another tackle with a trade up for Simmons or Milum and this party is about to get started.I muffed that. I see that ESPN has him listed at 6'1".

You’d be able to figure it out if you could find the gummiesI said Rex somewhere yesterday too. I may or may not have had 100 mgs of gummies.
Agree with this, just in the top 10 there are the Giants, Titans, Raiders, Jets, Browns and maybe saints. Someone will throw money at Darnold to be there starter and possibly Fields, You are right though that some needy team is going to go crazy for One of the QBs or Hunter. They can trade to any team that wants a qb. There are many
For me, the key is to get a stud with the 3rd through 6th pick plus a 2026 first plus a 2nd this year or next.So if the Patriots trade back in a swap for 3, get this years 2nd and next years 1st + 2nd you are not taking Travis Hunter? Supposedly Brady will be involved in the decision, at least it has been reported that way, I don't know if Brady would be down to mortgage the future for a Cam Or Sanders.Sure ..... grab it ... I think the Raiders will be desperate ... It has some to do
with Las Vegas determined in improving themselves as a sports destinatation.
I would ignore the saints; they are too low. That leaves FIVE potential trade partners.Agree with this, just in the top 10 there are the Giants, Titans, Raiders, Jets, Browns and maybe saints. It would be a very Mayo thing to do by winning that game. For me, the key is to get a stud with the 3rd through 6th pick plus a 2026 first plus a 2nd this year or next.

If we get that, I am 100% fine with drafting the BPA at 3.

Of course, our joint nightmare is that we will win next week and end up picking 4th, the lowest we can go at this point.
