Profootballtalk.com ... which seems to have a very well-informed mole within the Vikings org ...
passes on that 4 names are under consideration to replace their unhorsed
player personnel chief.

Three are current player personnel directors in the league.
The fourth is the Patriots head of college scouting, Tom Dimitroff.

Back during the winter, Dimitroff already had been mentioned for this same job.
But he withdrew his name from consideration.
(Hope he got a nice raise here!) Would he do so again?

If Dimitroff does the same due diligence on Childress and the Vikes as he does on Patriots' draft picks, it seems unlikely he'll be going anywhere.
