1) There will dfinitely be a top front seven player available at 17. Not counting OT's, it seems that early picks will include 3 QB's, 2 CB's and 2 WR's. There are TEN front seven players. We will have at least one available even if no OT's are drafted in the top 16. I expect all the top front 7 folks to be gone by 20.
2) The question is which of the front 7 players will be left. Dareus and Miller are top 5 players, and in any case will be long gone. Among the rest, I only want Quinn, Watt and Jordan.
3) Trading down into the 20's or early 30's means not getting one of the top ten front seven players. We would then be looking at Heyward, Wilkerson, Taylor, Clayborne, Ayers and Houston. These are not bad consolation prizes if we trade down out of 17. Trading down to 27 or 29 would likely yield a 2nd. This isn't bad if no one is there at 17.
