Well, looks like I'm being proven wrong in this game so far, thankfully.
However, it is Tyrod Taylor so who knows how we'll look against stronger competition.

Here's some news for some of you: I can criticize our roster and still be a fan of this team. That doesn't make me a "troll" or a "manning fan."
Some of you follow this team as blindly as people follow political leaders. Can't say I'm surprised in this country though...

The fact that you think that Ninkovich is the Pats best player on defense shows the fallacy of your post. Ninkovich is behinds the following (in no particular order):
1) Devin McCourty
2) Jamie Collins
3) Jarod Mayo
4) Jabaal Sheard
5) Chandler Jones

The LEAGUE ranks defenses by how many YARDS they give up. Unless something has changed and they are giving teams points just for the number of YARDS a team ears during the game, then YARDS don't matter one damn bit. It's points allowed that matter.

I said best player ON THE DEFENSIVE LINE. Maybe you should read the post carefully, it would save you some time.
Ninko > Sheard

2011 defense was 15th in scoring. It's not looked at as a middle of the pack defense, it's looked at as one of the worst defenses that year. This is because it was last in almost every category. Bend but don't break often comes down to a couple of huge plays and can swing either way. It's not a good defensive strategy, it's damage control.

Well the defense really needs to learn to play better late. Yes they finished but that was still not good late. Gotta be consistent. Was like Jekyll and Hyde in the second half.

Except that Ninkovich ISN'T the best player on the Defensive line. And Sheard is Better than Ninkovich. Just as Chandler Jones is Better.

YOU should just stop posting like a moronic troll. Especially since you went from talking about the defensive line to talking about the defense overall in the middle of your original post..

No "break" today...LMAO
Coughing up 19 consecutive points in the 4th..........Controlled Bendibility....LMAO

Refs calling a lot of ridiculous stuff and letting blatant stuff go.. Such as the Illegal contact down field while ignoring the Richie Icognito hold on Rufus Johnson as he tried to get to Taylor. Absolutely ridiculous..

Same thing happened in the playoffs against Baltimore and Seattle last year. Defense gave up a lot of points but sealed the win with an INT.

No reason to be worried when we have an unstoppable offense.

Sacking them 8 times ain't bad tho.
Makes up for 73% pass completions against...... over 2 games.
Advertisers love BB defenses...no walking away from the TV late in games

Thanks god it's week 2. BB is still playing around with stuff.
Let's hope
Going for it twice on 4th and one at midfield with substantial leads can be read several ways:

1) Revenge / foot on the throat of arrogant opponent
2) Testing his offense's mettle
3) Afraid to put D back on field (see Manning/Colts vs NE a few years ago)

Not ready to choose door #3 yet ....but....QBs are lighting his secondary up. For now......a #1 /#2 combo

Yeah if you think nink is better than chandler jones at this point you are an absolute idiot who doesn't know anything about football.
