Awful timing. Was hoping to see him matched up with Carter

This is another situation where character matters. Vrabel talks frequently about players getting in and getting treatment done, and you can bet your ass that Campbell will do absolutely everything he can to get himself healthy and back as soon as possible.

As a player if u have chances of playing in post season , you lick your chops to get a chance at cracking the big prize. I think that alone should motivate all players to pull above weight for next few weeks as well as post season.

If I am competitive I will want to put my best performance at biggest stage which would be post season.

I expect landry to be rested this week against giants to give landry a solid 3 week break to heal from his injury.

We might go with pretty light teams for next 3 games.

Bills might be difficult but with Maye we should be able to compete against ravens and giants . We have the better QB and that contributed to 80% of success.

I just hope we can improve upon our run defense in absence of Williams and landry . I feel Tonga is the most crucial piece out there and hence his playtime should be limited to defense.

On passing downs I am confident our CB trio can hold their own .

I think so. We have no other Cs, right?
Brenden Jaimes currently sits on the PS. He's likely to get a Game Day elevation for at least the next 2 games with Wilson out.

Good point. Games against Bills and Ravens will be almost as big as post season. Our backups will be playing at the top of their game. This will be a good chance to take their measure.

Lol, that means "Bright red blood" to me.

Munford is on the 53. He's not eligible for "Game Day Elevation".

With Wilson injured and not on IR, That gives the Pats 8 healthy O-linemen.
Lowe, Wallace, Brown, Bradbury, Onwenu, Moses, Bryant, Munford.

Currently Wallace is the only back-up they have for the interior 3 spots. Game Day elevation is likely either Jaimes or Rupcich.
Yes I knew that. I misspoke. Meant to say he would be active on game day roster, not one of the inactives.

Can Wallace play C? I wasn’t aware that he could. Thought Brown was the only backup center on our roster, except PS.

Dane Brugler on Rupcich back in 2022:TT

Dane Brugler on James in 2021:
Oh no, both of them have short arms.

Here we go again!

I never said that Wallace could play center. Just that he was the only one on the roster for the interior O-line.

Brown, to my knowledge is the only back-up C on the 53 that's not injured. That's why I expect Brenden Jaimes to be elevated each of the next two games. Though, if Wilson's injury lingers beyond that, they'll have to sign Jaimes to the "53".

Yeah that is what I thought. Wasn’t entirely sure about Wallace though, that’s why I asked.

He’s Will Campbell aka Big Country. If it’s in fact an ACL, he’ll just tell it that’s it’s wrong; it’s actually an MCL & self-manifest his return for the playoffs.
I laughed at this, but . . . maybe he did.

I don't see Vrabel rushing him back. Campbell is going to push to play but Vrabel knows he's a key to their long term success and will protect him from himself.
