Wildcard Game Thread: Eagles @ Bears

I have no idea who will win next week....so many teams have their holes...

Pats/Chargers could go either way.

Chiefs/Colts could go either way.

Dallas @ Rams could be good for the Cowboys as they do have a big TC following in SoCal.

Philly @ Saints or Dallas @ Saints...gotta like the Saints.

Bears @ Rams could be good, but I like the Rams.

Otherwise, I don't have a clue...

It just seemed like a one off that never happens so it was never addressed. But it’s a terrible rule. If it’s a catch and a fumble and the defense makes no effort to recover, it’s got to go back to the offense at the spot of the catch.

I think the problem is that the ref near the play waved it off as incomplete then picked up the ball. If he had just stood there doing/signaling nothing, the players would've been clued in that it was a fumble.

If the Eagles picked it up and took it back for a TD then it wouldn’t have counted cause ball was dead?

That's the way it seems to me. It seems any challenge was moot after it was signaled incomplete and the ref picked up the ball. But Chicago was hoping it would be changed to a catch and down by contact.
