Okay, I don't get it. I mean, I understand the drop-kick for a field goal or extra point - the timing between the snapper holder and kicker has to be tough.

But why a drop-kick on a kick-off? Shouldn't anyone with a strong leg be able to kick better running up to a tee than freaking drop-kicking it?

Seattle coaching is amazing. It's a shame they never gave him a chance here. They injured the kicker so they HAD to go for it in 4th down! It worked. Seattle won't lose this game. They will go to Atlanta. Calling it now.

They injured the kicker because they asked their old kicker to try an incredibly long field goal. That is on the coaching staff. If it comes down to a last minute field goal to win will you still be singing their praises?
