I kind of grow tired of all this talk of "Can Brady throw the long ball? "The Pat's are going to be throwing deep and often." That's all fine and dandy if it happens but I'm a little befuddled by all this speculation that the Pat's will be throwing hail mary's every other down.
I'm sure we will be going deep more than we have in recent seasons but the aquisitions of Moss and Stallworth changes the short and medium range passes too. Once they learn the routes these two are so athletic that there is a good chance that they will occasionally be turning 10 yard flat's into 70 yard TD's. Both still run low 4.3 speed so I don't see the difference between breaking away from the defender on a slant short route and taking it to the house.
I'm as excited as the rest here and see great things from the offense but also see alot of simialarities from last season as well. The only thing that will be completely different will be how teams match up against us and I don't think they will fair to well. Moss,Stallworth,Welker,Watson and Maroney will be Brady's fab 5 next season.
