Who Would You Consider To Be The Pats Rivals?

I was curious, what teams do you consider to be your big rivals?

Roger Goodell, the competition comitee, NY media, Don Shula. As for teams I'd have to go with the Prison Guards from The Longest Yard. They look like they could be formidable. Other than that the NFL teams all stink.

I'll agree, the Colts are the Patriots biggest rival. The Colts used to be the doormats of the AFCE (in the 90's) and the Pats would beat them up often. But once they moved into their own division, they just kept getting better and better. The fact that the Pats meet the Colts pretty much every year now, in the regular season and the postseason, coupled with last year's loss to the Colts in the AFCCG, has built this up to be one of the biggest rivalries in pro football. This year the Colts were the only team perceived to be able to challenge the Pats and the proof was in the pudding, an exciting and close game but ultimately a win for the Pats.

Of course as a Pats fan I naturally hate the Jets, Dolphins, and Bills in that order. But none of these teams are competitive enough to be considered as true "rivals" for the Pats at this point in time. I would really love to see the Pats kill the Jets though, the whole Mangini backstabbing thing has built quite a bit of bitterness between these two teams imo.

I'd say the Colts; seemless transition from Division rival to their rise to prominence together, right about exactly when the Colts were ejected from the East.

In the 70s, the Bert Jones Colts and the Steve Grogan Pats were a bitter rivalry... and I don't even have to discuss the Manning/Brady teams.
