Who is the next trade target?

The right target is probably a good offensive lineman. Even if you get JaMarr Chase, he wouldn't be able to do anything if the QB is under pressure 50% of the time and can't get the ball out of his hand. If Denver continues going down the drain, do they trade Garett Bolles? But this being Belichick, he probably just sits on it and let those bums he has at Oline "figure it out", somehow

Sellers who do we have to sell?? Nothing on the Offensive side as far as the eyes can see.
We could sell crutches and prosthetics and enough patients to fill an orthopedics practice.

I wonder if they’d consider adding a return specialist, especially for punts. Marcus Jones is on IR, and that shoulder isn’t going to be fully healthy even if he does play again this season. Maybe it’s best to spare him from taking the hits as a returner when/if he’s back. Douglas hasn’t looked overly comfortable returning punts, and they actually told Peppers to just fair catch (he disobeyed). Not a lot to judge on kickoffs, with Montgomery having 19 and 43 yard returns and Dugger fair catching for a touchback (probably as instructed similar to Peppers, except that he listened).

It’s easier to add a returner midseason since you don’t have to teach him a whole playbook, and it gets a guy with athletic talent into the developmental pipeline at a real position too. Probably could still be on a rookie contract, and wouldn’t cost major compensation either.

Olszewski would likely be basically free given that his season has been a disaster. He has two snaps with two awful outcomes this season. He just hasn’t been remotely the same guy the last couple of seasons. Probably best to look elsewhere.

I wonder if the Ravens would move on from Rashod Bateman?? They have O'Dell - Flowers and old stiff Agholor playing well.
I think the kid in LA rams has more Recieving yards then all of our WRs combined this season.

I don't know, over the years BB had made in season trades where he sees a weakness.

He’s produced 3 TDs since his rookie year 4 seasons ago. He’s also had major issues with both the Steelers and the Bears. No thank you on an unproductive head case.
Could probably get him for nothing at this point.

That's right up BBs tree.. something for nothing. All I know is Claypool would be automatically the best WR on this current roster .

Claypool sucks and Bateman can't stay on the field

In baseball, teams make decisions at the trade deadline about whether they are going to be buyers or sellers

I wish the patriots hadn't traded for a cornerback, and I hope they don't do anything else, except maybe trades to accumulate future picks

This team is going nowhere this year. I would love if they would not win another game

It's a sixth round pick. It's not like the Pats traded 2 firsts and a second. JC is a one year rental (or more depending on how he does this season). If he sucks, he's gone and the Pats don't owe him any money. It's a classic low risk, high reward move.

It's pretty much like the rest of the roster.. low risk, easy to get out from under contracts.. BB over the years had been able to be good with roster management so I'll give him that.

JC fills a huge need. Even with Gonzo there depth had become an issue..

Yeah. could be true. There is no savior for them right now but them.. when the team went on a roll in 2021 it felt so good. Like wow BB has done it again. Winning without #12. He undoubtedly was looked at nationally like a mastermind.

As a fan I always want them to win. Loosing does something to the locker room culture and guys attitudes and doesn't attract potential FAs. The teams in Flux right now.. I've said even though BB has managed the roster over the years.. it's still a bottom roster.

So let's see.. I honestly wish there was a way we could just forfeit the Buffalo game coming up.. we are just over matched and fans will exciting Gillette by the second quarter. I know I'm being fecicous..

Sign or trade for guys that possess Cat Like Quickness

There... I said it!!!
They already have a cat-quick guy...on the Practice Squad. Cunningham....and why the heck hasn't he been promoted to the 53. He might provide the spark that this moribund team needs.

QB is the only position they drastically need to improve.

Kirk Cousins, Kyler Murray?

They are basically spending $1.5m to find out if he can go back to being Pats-JC. If he can the rest of his contract his a great value considering the Chargers paid his signing bonus.

If it doesn't work out who cares.
