Here's how last weeks game went.
- Sick with nasty cold all weekend. Finally vertical by game time, but not drinking due to cold.
- Wife tells me we are having leftovers during game.
- Wife gets home and changes mind, tells me to order pizza.
- Frustrated as game is now on, but order pizza on my iPad. The pizza place is giving a $10 rebate for first time orders. I make the mistake of telling her this.
- After checking out online, I don't see the rebate, but dont really care.
- Gronk gets injured, my sore throat feels worse, the wife wants the rebate and decides to ask 50 different questions about why the rebate didn't produce a verification number.
- Wife wants to talk about the rebate in the middle of a playoff game?!? I say, screw the rebate, she keeps rambling.
- Wife now wants me to call the pizza joint??, Fight breaks out, doors slams> Wife insists I don't understand her feelings... I don't. I begin drinking.
Needles to say, I'm abut an hour away from my first drink.
