I would not be surprised if any of the following players were traded this weekend assuming they can get something for them or package with picks: Maroney, Thomas, Wilhite, or Sanders. Who are your picks?

Adalius Thomas for sure

A Thomas .........

Mankins to SF or Oakland....
Meriweather to Chicago....
Afalius to Edmonton....
Clonamery to the Chippendales....

I don't think anybody wants to trade for Adalius, given his contract. BB might try to give him away to a team for a conditional 2011 pick so he doesn't end up in Miami or New Jersey. To be honest with you, it wouldn't surprise me a bit if he was starting 2010 as OLB for the New England Patriots.

In order to be traded, one must have trade value, so that rules out guys like Wilhite.

Light or Kaczur could go, I guess, but I'd be surprised if any player is traded at the draft.

I don't think anyone will be traded today, or probably even tomorrow. But based on who is picked, I think there's some potentially for these guys to get traded on Saturday.

Maroney, Wilhite, Light/Kaczur, James Sanders.

Don't think Mankins can get traded cause he hasn't signed his tender.
AD has zero trade value.

Matt Light - He's in the last year of his deal and Vollmer was a stud last year.

Maroney - I hope, I hope, I hope.

A. Thomas - Even if all we get is a case of (warm Bud Light). Don't let the door hit you in the a**.

Wheatly & Wilhite - But I doubt they have any value.

Haha. (Remember, though, that Mankins can't be traded until he signs his tender.)

This is a serious thread, quit throwing legalities into the mix. :snob:

Out of everybody, Adalius is the only option that I can think of. If we trade one of our O-Line away, I would have to say Nick Kaczur. IMO, I think we'll go with an O-Line of Light-Mankins (he'll sign the tender)-Koppen/Draft pick-Neal-Vollmer. Have Vollmer back up Light should he get hurt and have LeVoir back up Vollmer with Bussey waiting in the wings should something catastophic occur to either the LT or RT position.

Light could be traded. Hadn't thought of meriweather, but maybe.

Don't see someone trading a pick for the right to pay AD 4.5M or whatever on a one year rental.

I don't see another team trading for Maroney. Why would a team want to trade for a player who is in the last year of his contract and who has question marks when they can draft a RB with more upside and lock him up for four years?

As for Adalius, I think he will be traded but not until after the draft. Somebody on another team will get injured in training camp and they'll go ahead and trade for him at that point.

The player trades most likely won't start til tomorrow. More of them will be on Saturday.

I think that Sanders and or McGowan could be moved. I doubt that they trade Matt Light. I hope they can get something for Thomas.

An interesting tidbit came out over at PFT that McFadden may be available from the Raiders.....

I'm going to say Maroney. We will draft a RB, and Maroney will be traded for a bucket of wings. Pats fans celebrate :eat2:

other options: Thomas, McGowan

I think that the Redskins is a more likely landing spot for Meriweather as the Bears don't have a pick in the 1st two rounds..

And I can't see BB letting Meriweather go for less than a 2nd.

Only the ignorant Pats fans will celebrate.

Chicago's 2011 #2.

Chicago's 2011 #2.

I doubt it.. I don't think BB would want the hole in the line-up that it would produce.. I think that he'd want a pick this year as well.

Neither Maroney nor Wilhite will be traded.

Sanders could go, I guess, but I doubt it. Ditto for Kaczur.

Don't really see any players being traded, to be honest.

He's already got his pick, if your theory works NE is targeting Thomas, no need to trade until you get your man. As for a hole in the line-up, Chung & McGowan & Sanders = :bye2:
