Whitlock is one of the worst writers in the NFL. This column just provides further evidence of that.

LT a patriot that would be down right crazy. IMO he really didnt drop off that much I mean 1100 yards rushing with 11 TDs is still a great year. I guess most are concerned about his yards per carry. If LT could duplicate this year for the pats stat wise for a discount then he would be a welcome addition.

So is Whitlock trying to be funny by equating 'old and slow' Tomlinson to the 'old and slow' Patriots? If so, then he needs to understand one of the first rules of comedy is that if a joke has to be explained, then it shouldn't be used.
