How many games in a row has someone on the other team criticized the Patriots now? Buffalo (dirty play), Cleveland (dirty play), Dallas (not the real deal), Miami (running up the score.)

My guess is that things like this are always said around the NFL, but since it's the Patriots the reporters know they are getting a headline article on every website if they publish it. The Patriots have become the largest team in football, for many reasons (spygate, dominating offense, Brady's record run, Moss, Belichick, Colts vs. Pats), and things are starting to become sensationalized ad nauseum. This reminds me of the Yankees and Lakers, where every time another player mentions these teams it's being dissected on every sports show within 15 minutes.

That's a part of it, but jealously is the driving force. Players, fans, and media who are sick of the Patriots and hate them, have a feeling of helplessness about not being able to stop them. That leaves them with only being able to try to lessen the Patriots character and accomplishments with words. It's incredibly pathetic, but at the same time it makes the Pats success even sweeter.

I want to know what you'd have to say if Brady's season was ruined by him getting Wilforked.

And you need to play titly winks. No contact for you. Just stay in that bubble over by the hospital bed.

Wolfork was blocked into him, if you watch the tape he wasn't even looking at Losman, sides I think it probably worked out for the best for the Bills.
Also, Brady has great pocket presences, and unlike Losman, would have not even been in a postion to get hit.

Losman was out for two games. The fact that the backup QB (Edwards) is better than him ruined his season.

The better comparison is Bledsoe. And that happened.

heh, the funny thing is Bledsoe was better than Losman and they probably would have made the playoffs that next year if they didn't boot him, cause they had a great D then.

Someone should make a poll of all the possible things that the Skins could complain about after this game (dirty, classless, running up the score, overrated, bad calls etc.) and see who can guess the right one. I personally forsee a Skins player, let's say Taylor cuz he sounds like a real idiot, whining about Belichick poisoning his dog the day of the game.

I'm watching the USC/Oregon game right now and I see Pete Carroll on the sideline. It brings me back to a decade ago when Carroll was roaming the Patriots' sideline on Sundays. Back in those days, I never dreamed that the Patriots would be the perennial powerhouse that they are today. The Patriots are loved or hated, but never ignored.
