I don't know why Swearinger would even make it to a playoff team, but if does, the Pats (the most tight-lipped team) might not be the best place for him. But still he would be a boost here.

I guess he thought that Blaine Gabbert was taking advantage of a weak link in the secondary, and that zone was the obvious best coverage... I like J.D.s competitive spirit... anyway.

Texan’s selected him in the 2nd round and then released after the 2nd year of his roookie contract. Based on BB/RC connection, I think Patriots wouldn’t claim him.
